Australia Fashion Week 2023
Australian Fashion Week 2023, held at Carriageworks in Sydney, presented the Resort 2024 collections with a strong emphasis on Australian ease, warm-weather dressing, and commercial wearability. The week mixed established labels with emerging designers, showing fluid tailoring, sheer layers, relaxed suiting, sculptural eveningwear, swim-adjacent silhouettes, and resort pieces shaped by Australia’s climate and coastal identity. Sustainability was also a visible theme, with designers reusing sets, repurposing materials, and framing fashion less as seasonal excess and more as adaptable wardrobe construction.
